About Us

When we opened Kingdom 1795, we wanted to create a space where people could make memories and mark moments. A place to bring people together, to enjoy not just the food, but the company they’ve chosen to spend this precious time with.

Inspired by the old pub site that gave us the bones for Kingdom 1795 we went for a friendly, comfortable atmosphere, where everybody’s welcome. The cooking is unpretentious, the ingredients are seasonal and our brilliant food suppliers and producers are locally based. We like to think our service is professional but approachable and our only care is that every time you leave, you want to come back.

Since opening in Killorglin, we have gained many loyal customers, who are now very much friends. Because despite the more modern look, this old pub is anchored in the basics of good old fashioned hospitality, occasionally complimented by the comforting Irish soundtrack of a ‘who’s your one?‘ or ‘how’s yer man?‘ …and it has never felt more like home.
